Karen M. DeJong

Originally from upstate New York, Karen DeJong earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Rutgers College in 1988 and her J.D. Degree from Seton Hall Law School in 1993. Ms. DeJong practiced for eight years in the State and Federal courts of New Jersey, and in 2002, Ms. DeJong moved to Charleston, South Carolina and started her own practice. Ms. DeJong believed that in starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. In 2003, Ms. DeJong founded the DeJong Law Firm, LLC. Since then, Ms. DeJong has represented numerous corporate and individual clients in State and Federal Courts. This has allowed Ms. DeJong to fully realize her passion for helping people at all levels of litigation and protection.

Ms. DeJong is active in a number of professional organizations including the Charleston County Bar Association and South Carolina Bar Association. Karen treats every client with respect and integrity.

Jennifer Stark Of Counsel

Practicing law since 1985, Ms. Stark focuses her practice on representing individuals with injurys, and both workers and businesses in employment issues. These include employment matters, such as contract issues, termination, unemployment and discrimination. Recently she has expanded her advocacy into the area of veterans rights and assist veterans and military members and families with finding services and benefits they may need.

Ms. Stark has been admitted to practice in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia and South Carolina/ currently Inactive in Virginia and the District of Columbia; Federal Court admissions include South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia and 4th Circuit Court of Appeals as well as the above state courts.

Jocelyn G. Bolling Of Counsel

Jocelyn Headshot Black-White-ENLARGEDJocelyn Bolling earned her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Maryland in 1982, and her J.D. at The University of Baltimore School of Law in 1988. From 1990 to 2000 Ms. Bolling practiced law in Washington DC where she specialized in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, litigation, entertainment law, copyrighting and U.S. customs litigation. In 2001 Ms. Bolling moved to Charleston, SC where she continues to practice commercial, corporate and copyright law.Ms. Bolling is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association & Charleston Bar Association, and a former member of the District of Columbia Bar Association & Maryland State Bar Association.
